Who Can Join UDCU?

Utility District Credit Union (UDCU) proudly serves employees, retirees, and families connected to the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD).

You may be eligible for membership if you are:

• A current employee, officer, or director of EBMUD.
• A member of the EBMUD Employees’ Retirement System.
• An employee or officer of Utility District Credit Union.
• An employee or officer of a qualifying organization composed of EBMUD employees.
• An immediate family member of an existing eligible UDCU member.
• A surviving spouse or registered domestic partner of a deceased eligible individual.

Family Membership

At UDCU, we believe in keeping financial services in the family!

Immediate family members of existing eligible UDCU members may also qualify for membership, including:

• Spouses and registered domestic partners
• Parents, stepparents, and parents-in-law
• Children, stepchildren, and children-in-law
• Siblings, stepsiblings, and siblings-in-law
• Grandchildren

Qualifying relationships may be biological, adoptive, or established by law, including equivalent non-gendered familial relationships.
